Beverly Hertler
Beverly Hertler is a Fiber Artist who lives in Red Bank, NJ. She earned a BFA at Arcadia University and has taken extensive art studio courses at Montclair State University. She exhibits nationally in juried fine art, fine craft and quilt shows. She has earned 4 Best of Show Awards as well as the Rosen Award for “Fiber Piece/Quilted at the Buyers For American Crafts, Philadelphia, PA. She has had several one woman shows and participated in many invitational shows.

I consider color, texture and design when I develop each piece. Mixing fabrics—both commercial and my own painted cotton and silk is a challenge in each piece.  I complete almost all my work with hand embellishing. I create art because it brings me joy.

The work represented here is all original 100% cotton, silk or a combination. Many are hand painted or stamped with acrylic, all are embellished by hand.
